“Overall, the service provided by Showkat from Velvigo was good. He was responsive and available whenever needed, which was appreciated. Since Sikkim travel is highly dependent on weather conditions and crowd levels, some delays and changes are understandable. However, there were a couple of issues during the trip. The hotel service at Lachung Pride was disappointing, and the property needs proper maintenance and updates, especially in the food area, which cannot be adjusted. Additionally, on one day the driver got delayed due to personal reasons, mentioning he had to drop school children first, and arrived only by midday. Better prior planning and communication would have helped avoid the inconvenience. Although Showkat compensated us the next day by arranging a Katao trip, which was appreciated, the overall delay and the need to make multiple calls to the driver were a little frustrating and disappointing. Apart from these two issues, the rest of the service was comfortable and satisfactory.”
